Seeing as cyk just gave me a few pointers, here is the first image ive done (properly) using HDR.

I like it. I wanted to show you all. :)

Certainly can, using cykeys guide I also made a +2 and a -2 exposure from the same RAW and then used Photomatix to combine them...

As nice as it is to recieve all these lovely compliments, the comment I appreciated most was probably the critique from hoodmeister on MSN regarding composition and the wideness of the picture. :p

You people need to be more critical!

Personally I think its a good photo, there are just a few annoying things.

The noise, while the equipment could have been the limiting factor in this I think its down to the HDR process, looking at the noise in the bottom right corner is very distracting, the sand seems to emphasise it even more.

The saturation of this photo is interesting, it really adds to the impact and make gives it the wow factor, but as with most HDr photos it doesn't quite look real. Its a lot better than some HDRs I have seen but I'm still not convinced about how great HDR is.
