HDR on 1.2 DP monitors?

Hello. I'm just curious. I always knew only Monitors with 1.4 DisplayPort supports HDR, but on Amazon I can see many 1.2 DP monitors "convincingly" advertising hdr support.
So, is it possible?

Yeah I have a dp 1.2 that works with hdr.
More premium monitors probably need dp 1.4 for it because they need the extra bandwidth for higher refresh rates and other features like DSC.
Dp 1.2 monitors will generally only be 60hz /fps so the extra bandwidth for hdr is less of an issue.
