Got my 26" Samsung HDTV a little while ago and only just got back at uni to be using it as my new pc monitor. However, i dont know whether its the cause of my eyestrain/headaches. Im sitting about 3 feet away from it usually, which i didnt think would be too bad.

I notice colours blur on dark backgrounds quite badly, such as red text on this forum.

Ive got low brightness and high contrast as i thought this would aid my problems.. but im yet to find something suitable.

Im thinking about going back to my 19" TFT, but this screen is great for xbox.. arg.. what a dilema.. could it just be an adapting period?

Have you done the PC autotune thing? In the options somewhere.

Just ran that. So will try it at this level for now. See how it goes..

Cheers for the pointers.

i take it you are running the screen at its native resolution (1366x768, if its the screen I'm thinking of)

My control panel says 1360x768, but there is no other option, it does seem to just have cut off 3 pixels either side, i dont think this would be the cause though.

Snake, do you have trouble with red coloured text on the blue backgrounds on the ocuk boards like This text right here right now!

I do. But it's the only problem (touch wood!)

I think im just way too adjusted to fine pixelly goodness... gonna have to get a smaller TFT monitor me thinks... to the Monitor section!
