HDTV, Blurry?

Hi guys i was just wandering why the picture on a HDTV is so blurry on the ps2, GC, Xbox? Is there any way to make the picture better?

because you're using scart, probably. my SNES looks a bit blurry on my screen

HDTV's never look that great when not running at non standard resolutions, I expect cheaper ones would be even worse too.

It will be blurry on a TFT, got my new Samsung and setup my PS2 and the picture quality was crap even with component leads. Like mentioned before the resolution is just to low for the TFT screens to produce a sharp picture.
It's just like a normal PC TFT monitor, if you have it set to any other resolution other than the optimal then the picture becomes distorted.
I would stick to a decent CRT TV for the PS2 and GC.

Have you tried a VGA lead for the XBOX, I would imagine that would get the best picture?

I'm waiting for my PS3 and HMDI lead before I use my Samsung again.
