HDTV instead of a Monitor?

Hello,

Have you ever consider buying a HDTV for PC use? I am asking because the prices of a good monitor is higher than a bigger HDTV.

depends on the size and what it is generally a pc monitor is much better but i used my tv as a monitor for a couple of years and had no problems

TV's have a lot more picture processing which leads to input lag , some have a "game" mode which switches off some of this and reduces input lag but still can be bad (going by the 32" my Samsung i had)
