HDTV won't show display from DVI

I can't get my HDTV to show the output from my graphics card. It only shows on my monitor. Both are 1080p, and i've tried it at 50hz. (I'm currently using a graphics card with only 1 output, so I can't set the card to output to whatever port via the control panel as I used to do when I had a card with 2 outputs.)

Any ideas?

May I ask what make and model number graphics card and TV you are using?

When connecting the graphics card to the TV, are you using a DVI to HDMI adapter?

It's an ATI HD 2350. I've tried playing with the HDTV settings CCC but to no avail.

I'm using a DVI to HDMI cable, which worked fine on my previous card.
