Anyway I can access the He site without going to uni? My gf is wanting a white macbook for lectures. Mainly the older white one thats on the site.

Were both at uni but obviously off for christmas now. I know the stores dont do HE? So anyway I can access it outside of uni even if im a student?

Thanks a lot :)

anyone know if they will/usualy do offers over christmas?

Like the free ipod offer etc

just wondering 'cus the gf is wanting me to pop into uni on monday (my last day near uni) and buy it :P

At my uni we have a remote applications service whereby you can load up a browser through an on campus PC and get it done that way. Maybe you have one too?

The extra £45 people are paying is only for extended phone support. 3 years of hardware warranty is automatically included with all Mac HE purchases.

It's a common mistake people make.

The website does not make this clear imo. I bought one on HE, and website shows I only have 1 year warranty (still in 1st year so not really bothered), been meaning to call them and sort it out as a lot of people here say they got 3 year warranties.

I never got any e-mail at all and bought it from HE online. What would you suggest I do? (I bought the machine last Feb, early 2008 MBP). I really should call them and resolve this before the 1 year expires, I think.
