Somehow Mental Floss (Where Knowledge Junkies Get Their Fix) uncovered Photo-of-the Day by Jamie Livingston, the not-yet-public website Hepcat and his friend created for Jamie Livingston's 6000+ Polaroids. Because it's a work-in-progress site (a Beta site), there are no names on it, no credits. No contact information. Nothing.
I rekon that would be a monumental task to complete. You would need to make sure you have access to the camera every day, remember to take a picture every day and have the determination to carry it through indefintely which would be very difficult.
Not so hard in the era of camera phones though perhaps?
Made me feel sad towards the end.

WOW - What an awesome thing to do, and very touching when you read through it, its a great snap-shot into his life.
Also have a look at - http://www.everyday.noahkalina.com/index.php
It is a bloke who started taking a picture of himself every day, just his face, to see how much he changes over the years, he started in 2000 so has been on-going for 8 years, he changes quite a lot.
You can click into the drop-down-box and select different dates (years) or select to see the whole 8 years on the same page (takes a while to load).
There was a funny take on that by The Olde English Comedy
