With all the talk about Ivy Bridge being around the corner and also the huge debate on Kepler it's hard to keep up with everything.

Added to the fact that OcUK have some great deals this week makes it all the more difficult. What I'm trying to get at basically is I'm constantly back and forth thinking I should buy now and have done with it, then the next minute I think best to wait.

Yes, I agree and was even discussing it with a work colleague a few days ago that if one keeps contemplating and procrastinating, he will never buy.

It's hard to predict what will happen and you can only hope that when a new product is released (think new Nvidia architecture) that the performance/price ratio will be both competitive and fair.

I am definetly going to upgrade my rig eventually but when to go about it is turning out to be a headache. This same work colleague of mine has a GTX 570 MSI and has advised me to wait for Kepler but surely if I am only gaming at 1080p then this card should be a killer buy (on deal also).

However, when you look at the specs for Kepler (yes I know it's rumour but one looks with interest anyway) you can clearly see that even the low to mid range cards offer more Vram and better performance.

Would I end up regretting buying such a GPU now that is last gen soon to be replaced?

Also, how long from this point now is the new range of GPU's going to be released?
