Head max on D5 Vario

This look ok to you, goes like this

RES>PUMP>RAD>CPU>RES

Remember no gpu's for a month or two after the build is done

i would have mounted the rad so the fittings were at the front of the case but it would not leave much room for fittings as i'm going for a 480 rad which comes right to the front of the case, other option would be to use a tube res so i have another 2 optical bays free.

Can you not run that long tube along the top and then down behind the drive bays rather than across like that to have less clutter?

Ah bugger we have a problem, the sr-1 480 is going to foul the front panel connectors by 4 mm Namely the front panel audio and USB 3, behind the 2 holes is a large metal block to take the 3.5mm jacks and the USB 3 takes full size usb 3 leads. either of which i can live without

Now my choices.

de-solder the blocks and leave 4 holes where the connectors are in the front panel
totally remove the front panel connectors and replace with a piece of black perspex with just 2 holes for the activity lights or cover it with fablon and replace the led's with hyperbrights so they shine through the fablon still

mayjor bummer but that guys Skynet build the RX 480 is actually smaller than the black ice

You could always bang your rad on the back using a koolance clamp or radbox, then you could add another triple rad in the roof either now or at a later date and make use of a second d5.

I have 2 of these pumps,1 is enough for your hardware that you have said on speed 5.

You think it would really need to be on speed 5 , 1200LPH is quite a lot really for such a small loop,my Ehiem canister filter for my fish does that much lol.

And i do really like this idea >>>Koolance Radiator Mounting Bracket with Quick Release

Regarding speed depends on how restrictive your blocks are assuming your going to watercool everything...cards,cpu and whole motherboard so yeah 5 speed.
