I was involved in a car accident and suffered bad whiplash even though my headrest was in a decent position. Now i have my new car i cant get the head rest anywhere near where it should be, after suffering bad whiplash when the head rest was in the correct place id hate to imagine what it would be like with the head rest not high enough.

At the moment ive got it out of the clips but it just slides down after a while, im sure its not a good idea to have it like that.

Should i just go to a scrap yard and try to find one that fits with longer arms? Or is there a better solution?
Ive adjusted the seat as much as possible so theres nothing else i can do in that area. The car is a Vauxhall Meriva.

Oh well ignore me. Just had another play with it and and found that you can extent the legs out from the main head rest part. Doh! Still not as high as id like but much much better.
