head tracking trackIr

im using head tracking atm with a trackIR head 3 led set and a wii remote as a camera anyone done the same and upgraded to the track Ir cam ?

is there a lot of difference? i want to mess with it for 3d as per the johnny lee stuff from a few years ago.

A friend built his own 3 LED set into an old baseball cap and uses a standard webcam. He has gone from the standard trackIR and swears by his 50p build.

yer i did that originally with part from a local elect store not to be mentioned. but as i have the head piece now i want to upgrade from the wii remote cam and try the track Ir cam i think the definition will be better than the will remote just wanted opinions from people who have tried it ..
