Hi

I've just got my new vehicle this weekend but the factory fitted cd player head unit is a bit lame so I'm wanting to change. My last car had a cd changer in the boot that was factory fitted and worked great with the steering wheel buttons. But my new vehicle has none of that.

I was thinking of changing the head unit for this package:

But then I got to thinking, I could just buy the head unit only and fill a couple of CD's with mp3's of my albums and save myself the hassle and cost of fitting the cd changer.

Waddya think? Good idea or not?

Does anyone know if I did go down this route, would my albums woud be easy to navigate thru and play. Or not! I dont know how good modern stereo's are at that kind of stuff.

Cheers
Mick

Oh BTW I'm not into all this bass booming stuff or ultimate audio quality, just normal decent performance is all I'm after. :)

If your spending over £200 then have you thought about a DVD player head unit? Then you have 4.7gb on each DVD. :D
