Just bought an MG ZS 120+. I've connected my JVC stereo from my old Corsa and each time i turn the car off and on the stereo forgets it's settings (bass, treble ect). Also the radio doesn't work but worked fine in the factory fitted one i took out of it.

I've read that on the ISO block you need to change the red and yellow wires around (continious power supply) but there are no red and yellow wires coming from the car into the block? Is there an adapter or something i could get? It worked fine on my Corsa.

its a problem with the permanent live

had this problem with my e36 just swapped the red n yellow around

Get a multimeter and look for the constant live and switched live. Use virtually any bear metal part of the car as an earth.

This is a piccy i just took, can someone tell me which ones i need to switch? Also do they just pull out and slot back in?

On the right hand connector, the black is likely to be your earth lead, the red/yellow and red/black are likely to be the lives and the blue/white is often an electric aerial switch. Don't take that as fact though, I don't want to be responsible for damaging your headunit :p

I think it's White/Blue - Perm 12v, Yellow/Red - Switched Igntion, Red/Black - Night time illumination, Black - Earth. I cant get the wires out to switch them though!

I've fixed it cheers everyone, just it was the fuse in the back of the stereo causing the issue. The radio still doesn't work though but i can live with that.

Have you plugged in the aerial, the corsa probably had a quick fit one that might need removed to allow the MG one to fit.
