Head Unit upgrade for an e46

its a complete pain to remove but just be patient, the screen has to be partially open to enable access for the tools, there was a lot of cursing involved if I remember correctly
Wow, that really makes my PX5 look ancientI did a few minutes tour of how I have the PX6 set up on my car, didn't realise I'd not done one yet for this unit, did for the old one though but that's not relevant any more.
Will hopefully help someone else decide if they come across this via Google etc which has happened for previous videos
Is that the avin qualcomm version that comes with android 12? after a lot of issues and bugs with my xtrons qualcomm version it has been behaving recently, mine came with android 11 but have downgraded to 10 as it seems a lot more stable for some reason, the wireless carplay works perfectly now where as before it would be hit and miss if it would connect at all, coupled with the ibus adapter and app looks fairly similar to yours
So, everything is now in and seems to be working fine. There are a couple of settings questions I have:
When I open a door, I get a 'popup' window over any other app showing the door open, but it's the wrong way around - like the car is LHD. I've found the setting to get that right in the iBus app, but this does not seem to be coming from that as it is over any other screen. Any ideas?
I can get the system to switch to iBus when I drop into reverse and show the PDC screen, but I can't get the pop-up window to show over any other app?
On the OBC screen in iBus it is showing 7gal in the tank, when it is half full...
Basically delighted with the unit...

There is definately a option to overlay the reverse sensor bit over any app, although it doesnt go to the full screen one like you see in the ibus app, its just a small overlay, regarding your doors I had the same thing and there is an option in the headunit itself to swap, it was called rudder or something on my xtrons unitSo, everything is now in and seems to be working fine.
