I took the sound system out of my car last night as I was intending on selling the car and keeping the sound system.

Well now I want to keep the car and have put my sound system back in.

I have put my Pioneer DEH 55 BT back in and all is working well.

Here comes the but. It's getting extremely hot when playing CD's. The HU ejects the CD but you can't take it out because the disc is so hot and burns you.

This isn't normal, any ideas what the problem is?

Your car is a transformer and it is trying to tell you about your bad taste in music!

Very much seems that way nowadays.

All joking aside I think they get warm anyway, but getting that hot? Seems like theres a problem with the headunit- they are so cheap nowadays it might be worth looking at a new model.

I paid £200 for it at christmas and it is the best head unit I have ever had.

I'll slide it out in a min and see whats up. If it's continues it will be going back off to Pioneer.
