Hey All,

Just changed my bulbs to some H7 OSRAM NightBreaker Laser's and it seems that I can no longer adjust the angle of my headlights with the little switch next to my lights that goes from 1-3. Any ideas? Can't seem to see any wires out of place and the only things I unplugged were the old bulbs.

Car is a Seat Ibiza 2014 FR (Halogen not Xenon)

First thing that comes to mind is that you've unplugged the adjustment motors by mistake, but you say that isn't the case.

Maybe while wiggling the bulbs in and out you have accidentally disconnected the actuator rods. If the reflectors rattle around now this could be the problem. Refitting is normally a real pain.

Just had a quick check again, nothing unplugged as the only plug going into the headlights is a connector which manages the whole cluster. Doesn't seem to be anything rattling, I'll have another look when it's light to see if I can see anything. Maybe a fuse but I'm not too sure.

interesting....i have a seat altea 56 plate and my adjustment switch does not do anything either...why is it there if it doesn't work....

This isn't going to help you much but I replaced mine with the same ORSAM bulbs last month and they level just like with the OEMs so you've done something odd

Still helpful actually, so I know someone else with OSRAM Bulbs can actually adjust theirs. Thanks :)

It's a 2001 seat though so probably a completely different leveling technique. Glad it helped.

Changing a bulb shouldn't affect the level. Silly question but you are waiting 5 seconds right? Mine take what feel like an age to start moving but it's probably under 5 seconds after you've turned the switch

Yep, I tried waiting 10 seconds after moving the switch and even moving the switch, turning off the ignition and removing/reinserting the key but no luck. I haven't got the slightest clue what it could be!
