Why is it that people are so inconsiderate to not lower their beams when people are clearly being blinded.

Example...

chap three cars back in none moving traffic. Small car.

His lights are far too high, so much so I'm being blinded by all my mirrors.
so is the guy behind me.

ffs man... you can see your lights are too high! LOWER THEM!

This does my head in too! Do people drive without looking at their dash??

Similar thing can be said for those idiots who don't use their mirrors and are blind to the emergency vehicle behind you with flash blue lights!! USE YOUR ****IN MIRRORS!!!!!

Turns out it was his full beam...

just got out and asked him if he can lower his beam...

MUPPET

and yes I'm on the internetes in traffic lol

I hope your engine was off and you were suitably parked before using your technological device to post on here. ;)

Or he was the passenger. Actually, if it was blinding him in all 3 mirrors then he must have been in the driving seat.

I've often wondered why people don't see that MASSIVE LIGHT ON THEIR DASHBOARD telling them that their foglights / high beam / spots are on.

In most cars it's not exactly subtle either, you need to be pretty blind to miss it.

Then again, I had someone with their high beam driving behind me recently, so I waited for her to pass, pulled up next to her at the lights and told her. After about a minute of her trying to figure out what the hell I was talking about, she said "yeah but if I turn the other one on, only one light works innit?".

Don't even get me started on phone zombies on the tube.

you are sitting in your car being blinded by another car and you come here to post about it?

seriously?

You are sitting at home wasting time posting on a thread about a man posting on a thread while sitting in traffic. How is your waste of time better than his? :p

You could be doing something better with your time, he can't he's stuck :D

BTW I'm posting this from the runway holding for a slot to take off. ;)

What annoys me most is when people can't fit a headlight bulb properly. The amount of cars I MOT that has a headlight bulb in completely wrong causing it to dazzle everyone is scary really, it's simple stuff. If you don't know how to do it then it only costs £10 to have it fitted.

ill give you that one. :p

People that wait to dip their beams until they're almost level with you, even though they can clearly see you coming round a bend from 200yds, need to be punished. Grrrr.

Hold on, how do you fit a bulb wrong?

I remember years ago my father in law got a bulb replaced somewhere and they put it in upside down, even the folks that fit them can't even manage sometimes.

That does happen too unfortunately! I don't know how people manage it I really don't. It takes a fair bit of force to clip in a H4/H7 bulb when it's not in position!
