I have NS1000s and they ideally need an amp to be made use of.

Having sold my computer and downgraded to a laptop, I was wondering what is the best way to listen to music now.

I used to have a Xonar DG.

I'm guessing I'm going to need a desktop amp.

Also in terms of audio quality what would I need to better what I have currently, RealTek HD audio basic thing.

Don't want to spend too much. Possibly around £100.

Thanks.

PS. The cable on my NS1000 is a bit temperamental what cables can be bought as an alternative, it needs to have one side that is narrow so it can fit into the headphones and the other side is normal. Just a standard 3.5mm Jack.

Thanks.
