Hi
I recently bought an asus TUF FX505 DT laptop which I am quite pleased with, unfortunately I seem to be getting a tricky intermittent fault. I have 5 headsets which I have tested in the 3.5mm headphone jack and none of them work straight away. If i'm lucky when they get plugged in for the first time in a while they work, but if unplugged and plugged back in they never work. I visited OCUK yesterday and on the testing counter, I was informed that it was all working fine which was somewhat of a relief, but all I have had out of it today is one specific headset I have works once but no more, and all headsets work in other devices. The one that worked today took a lot of jiggling, it didn't actually work first time. Does this sound like a hardware fault with the socket?
