Not to sure which headphones to get out of :-

I'd sooner go for the QPAD as these are better but they have no volume control on them. There volume control is on the usb soundcard that comes with them but that's useless as i'll be using the headphones with a "Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD Sound Card" using it's built in headphone output.
Now the keyboard i'll be getting with my new build is a Razer Mechanical Elite that has a volume control on it. Can the volume control on this keyboard be configured to control just the headphone output or will the volume control alter every output in windows including my speakers which I don't want as my speakers already have a volume control on them?
So should a go for the better headphones and lose the inline volume control or go for the sennheisers?
