In the middle of making a new desk/room setup. My plan was to have a usb and a headphone and microphone jack on a table next to the sofa opposite my desk, so I can watch movies at night using headphones but still hav the mic for relaxed gaming. However I still want to be able to plug my mic into a port on my desk so if I just had a splitter at my desk that ran to the table and switched my mic between the two jacks, would it work? Thanks
