Headphone stereo inverted

I've just noticed that the headphone output on the front of my comp is inverted so the right channel plays through the left can and vice versa.

I've not opened my computer up yet to have a look as honestly I don't know what I'd be looking for.

I've got an Asus P8P67 Pro mobo with onboard sound and using the Realtek drivers. I assume there'll be a connection somewhere inside my PC that's not hooked up right. I know it's not the headphones because I've used them for years and the same thing happens with my speakers when I try them in the same socket, they're fine when they're plugged in the back though.

Edit: Should mention my case is a Xigmatek Utgarde. :)

This happens on a lot of cases apparently where they design their front panels with the left and right for headphones in a reverse position. It is why when i tried a DG recently that i finally could use my cases front panel header properly instead of the pins separately with the audigy2zs. So when i tried the header with the DG my headphones left and right were the wrong way around and you cant do anything to fix it unless you redo the header i.e cut and tape back up somehow the header so its the right way around (baring in mind you duno what wires are which. So i returned the DG and kept the audigy2zs as i could use the separate pins and reverse it myself easily. tho the pins are very lose and need blutak to hold em in place.
