Headphones for Cambridge Audio A1 (/any other amp without built in headphone amp?)

My Dad's got a Cambridge Audio A1 (Special Edition if that makes any difference) and it hasn't got headphone output. It wasn't really a criteria at time of purchase (and tbh I don't think he noticed at the time) but there's the odd occasion he'd like to use headphones, i.e. late night listening etc.

Is there anything within a reasonable budget (<£20) that would allow headphone output from this amp, or alternatively from any other source like a DVD player? If it helps it has a tape out on the back but obviously this wont mute the speakers so would be a bit useless if it's linked to the main volume control?

Cheers for any suggestions, he's not really after a new amp, just a cheap way to use some average quality headphones (we're not talking audiophile quality here by a long shot)

B-Tech Headphone Amplifier (£32)
Project Headbox Mk2 (£70)
Graham Slee Solo Monitor Class Headphone Amplifier 2007 edition (£460)

There are others too, but if you google though you should find something to do the job. Hope that is hopefull, and no I am not suggesting you buy the last one :P

The slee solo is a stunning amp and is a match made in heaven with senn hd-650's. Maybe that's why senn use them as the main amp to demo phones. Only thing is that the 2007 edition is overpriced. When i demod it at the UK headfi meet a few weeks ago i heard the 2008 pre-release, and that one is more like 250. I think graham is using a cheaper switching power supply. Anyhow it's a terrific amp.

Maybe try a cheap cmoy amplifier. Have a look over at headfi.org, well when it's back up.
