Headphones

Currently on a pair of sony mrv-500s and looking for something in the range of 80 - 90 pounds. Am currently looking at the 595s but wondering if any1 else can suggest anything better preferably something that doesnt need an amp to power it though. Will mainly be using the headphones for gaming + listening to music

I'm in the same situation, and am going to go for the Audio Technica A700/A900's.

Going to have to import them though, to get a reasonable price.

Just bought a pair of the A900's litterally just got them out of the box and testing my music collection with them.

All I can say is wow! They blow away my last pair of cans, Senny HD515's, being closed backed is new to me too and they are really good. I can only hear my fingers typing on the keyboard if I try hard to hit the keys.

Really impressed with them, would recommend!

Normal retail price is around £179.99 (quick google search) so clearly not within price range?
