Headphones.

not to sure if this is the right place to put the thread sorry if it is not.

Here my problem i have vista 64bit vista and every time i but in my headphones
there not been detected by vista at all speakers they work but only if i have my speakers on two with it.

My case is a Antec 300

Only a week old.

Is there way on check if my headphone jack is broken.

I think it could be.

now when i put them in the back vista is picking them up headphones second output.

Have you connected the front headphone jack to the motherboard?

ya somebody told me that all right but i dunno were the connection is ,

Check the motherboard manual.

It varies from board to board. For some bloody stupid reason its right behind the IO plate on my one, normally at the bottom of the board. Ten pin block with one pin missing, the plug will be obviously connected to the back of the jack and has one hole blanked off. Shouldn't be too tricky

thanks check it and the ac 67 plug was plug out but the other 1 was plug in a ok
