Heads up - Big lump of meat

Lidl is selling prosciutto for a pretty bargain price so just thought I'd throw it out there!

Can't guarantee it's in every shop as Lidls is normally pretty inconsistent, but it is on their website http://www.lidl-pageflip.com/uk.html?kid=6z7wto page 4.

£8.99 a kilo, this lump was about 1.3kg, tastes excellent

Already eaten about an inch of it and I bought it yesterday!

Looks very dry :/

I got a huge ribeye in Sainsbury's on Saturday evening after they marked it incorrectly at less than half the price it should have been :cool:

It's not at all

obviously it's not gonna be top quality! But I would say it's significantly better than the sliced packet stuff I normally get, and a lot cheaper.

edit: actually, we should have a meat deals thread

So people can post up any special offers on sunday roasts...
