Heads Up Pirelli Angel St

I think theres the gt and st

ive had a few rears now of the st,i bought them part worn and can say they are the best tyre ive used so far for wear and grip

grip is as good as the other tyres ive used, but they last ages

(best price ive seen, you'll pay nearly that much for one rear tyre,i think shipping is extra £2 odd)

have michelin PR3's on mine at the moment with about 2mm left. Hopefully this deal will be around another few weeks for when I replace..

anyone have any experience between these and the Michelins?

Pilot road 4s on mine atm, and look to be holding up well after 4500 miles. Would have been tempted to pick up some cheap angel STs to see how they compare when my tyres need replacing, but no 180s in the link. :(

I don't know about the ST but I've currently got the GTs on my Street Triple and they're really good. Had no problems in rain or on a hot track, they just seem to work in all occasions.

I havn't really looked at the gt's,i did a quick look on ebay and couldn't see any cheaper st pairs though

can vouch for the st's aswell

St is an old tyre now & has been surpassed by the GT, Had a GT fitted to my Shiver last week, Done about 150 miles on it so far so properly scrubbed in now. I can report back once I've put a 1000 miles on it & let you know what I reckon but having an ST previously I'm confident the GT is even better. 15% bigger contact patch for starters.

You should feel how my bike dips in now I have got rid of that squared off rear the bike came with, Bike feels mint now & now the rear is scrubbed in properly I can start pushing it. :D

I think I'll be going for a set of GT's once my rear has gone (probably another 1500 miles left on it so 6 weeks maybe). Its also squared off and I've never liked the front bt016 fitted on it, especially in the damp, slimey conditions I ride in.

Well the ST's are brilliant tyres in all conditions, First day I got the bike I rode it back in the rain & used it throughout winter except for 10 days. Never once had the back or front go/slide except when you hit a pile of gravel/stones then it grips straight back up first chance it gets. Rear was squared off to **** but I still got it down & there was untold tread left although the center had just started to tear up a bit.
I now have an ST still on the front & the new GT on the rear, I read untold before the purchase & reviews on the GT are excellent & everybody says they are that bit better than the ST's, As the ST's were good enough for me it's a no brainer stepping up to the GT's & when all said & done it's all about confidence isn't it. :)
