Unfortunately I didn't realise L Brackets didn't contain safety studs. My A7R4 when crashing to the floor landing partially on the front-end-side of a Sony 90 Macro after slipping from an Arca Swiss mount on the Tripod.

I'm now left with a FE 90mm macro that works intermittently, trying to establish the cause of the fault :(

Edit: Said error being F- - when everything else works perfectly? I say intermittently because sometimes it's fine?

broken solder joint on the motor controller?

Sorry to hear it, a trip to Cardiff for that lens then. Some L-brackets do have the safety studs, the '3 Legged Thing' L bracket I've got has them.

I didn't realise that. Which particular bracket?
My bad probably all of them?

I ended up reading about the lack of studs on DP from people who had similar issues.

QR-11 Universal but it's not really designed for Sony ILMC and was bought back when I used Canon. It works which is what matters :)
