Headset and sound card

Looking at buyih a headset for around £50 - £60 .... Was looking at the corsair 1300 with a copy of Skyrim as I was going to buy this game anyways.

However I dnt have a dedicated sound card at the moment... I'm more the likely going to purchase one after Xmas but not now... Will the headphones be good enough to use without a sound card temporarily.

Also ... Can someone recommend me a sound card... Which I will also be able to connect to a av system which I plan on buying after Xmas. Does this mean I have to have a sound crd with a digital out

pci-e if fine... i cant see an spdif out connection on the picture though.. or am i blind?

shame they dnt do the 1500 with skyrim instead
