Headset choice USB?

Struggling to choose between the turtle beach zseven and the sennheiser PC360, really like the look of the 3D sound that you get from the zseven it would be great for fps games as I play a lot of them, but whats putting me off them is its USB, I've never had a USB headset before and don't feel confident enough to just go out and buy them, does USB produce good sound because you cant use a soundcard

my corsair vengeance are usb and has a built in soundcard i believe, works fine

Generally USB headsets have a good enough sound card to provide sound for themselves. If you have a good soundcard you should not get a USB headset.
