I was going to put this in the hardware section but i wanted the specific advice of gamers.

I have a Speedlink Medusa 5.1 headset with mic and a USB connector. Now neither myself or the tech support for the headphones have been able to get the mic working. Wasnt really a problem until recently. However, i will now need one to use team speak and they where on the bed and the g/f rolled over one of the ear pieces snapping it off. It now flaps against my head and the wire is wearing through effecting the sound.

I want suggestions for another headset with mic, preferable 5.1, must be good quality, easy to set up and comfortable.

Any suggestions?

budget isnt that big an issue. Upto £60 ish.

Will prefer to spend less but willing to spend a little more if its needed :D

hello mate
I have the Altec Lansing 5.1 SS microphone
The mic quality is excellent and the sound quality is good too! I don't use the SS in games really, as it irritates me but the SS is very good aswel.
There tech support is great too. I broke my mic the other week (wire sepertated from the socket :p ) and they sent me out a new one within a week. I didnt even have to prove I actually bought the item! ha. Anyways This is my reccomendation. I suggest you read the reviews on the mics people suggest :)
All in all excellent mic. Perfect mic input and very good sound quality ;)
