Headset- for LIVE, and listening.

Is it possible to connect up a headset so that it is possible to use voice chat over xbox LIVE, but also can be used to listen to the game through?
Reason being, I prefer to use headphones instead of speakers for gaming, but it is a little chalenging to say the least, to fit the 360 headset as well as headphones on one head

.
So what I'm looking for is one integrated solution. Maybe with connections to the 360 controller, as well as the 360 sound output? Or whatever works best.

lol, i've done this before, wireless headset in one ear and headphone on other ear, its abit of a juggling act and you look a right numpty, lol

Ah, that's the sort of thing! Any alternatives? I'm a bit hesitant, after reading comments about 5.1 surround sound headphones on this forum.

You could use a decent set of headphones and buy a cheap clip-on Mic and use a 3.5-2.5mm Mono adapter to plug the Mic into the 360's controller. Down side of this method though is that the voices are meant to be very quiet through the headphones.

I've been using them for about 6 months now and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever

Exact same thing, different brand. For what you're after though I would go with either of those two since there isnt anything else that offers what you're after, because sadly there isnt really a market for it yet so none of the better headphone brands such as Sennheiser will not give a thought about releasing decent headphones with built in Mic.

Just buy a far better pair of headphones for the same price as those ones, set voice to come through the speakers and wear your headset around your neck.

I tried that, but the voices through the speakers are really quiet. Also, with the headset around the neck, the microphone moves away or I end up eating it

A decent set of headphones, will wipe the floor with a decent surround sound system, for gaming any day of the week.

Unless you use the link above, you can't do it without having two sets of head phones (I've done it before previously, using my 5.1 centre and plugging my head phones in via that, and using Live headset too.)
