Allo guys.
Here's the story. I have a Medusa 5.1 headset (USB) and basically, the microphone on it has broken. Is there anyway I could get around plugging a regular desk mic into the microphone port and not have the (no-longer working) microphone from my USB headset take over ?
The USB headset takes over anything that's plugged in via the regular speaker/mic ports.
Another way around it (should it be possible)..
Would be to utilize the microphone from this headset as my output - http://www.synapseadaptive.com/microphones/images/DSP100_plant.jpg - whilst still using the input from my Medusa Headset. Would this be possible, if so how?
I am skimping here as I'm saving up for a new build and I can't afford 50 quid on a new headset
Any help is much apreciated
