Hi,

Currently, our call centre agents use cheap Logitech headsets. They do the job but you the mic's are picking up background noise of fans etc and agents are complaining they are struggling to hear customers.

Settings are all ok etc but I think it's the headsets themselves are the problem, they sit on the ear not over it.

Any recommendations for a cheap set that provide good voice calls?

What phones are they connecting to? What sort of money are you looking to spend on each headset. Anything below about £100 per headset (corded) or £200 per headset (cordless) is likely to not be noise cancelling and not designed for call centres.

Also as a telecoms engineer working for a telecoms company we swear by Plantronics headsets for call centres.

We use these at work, can't complain at all really. Background noise is well isolated

they aren't, they are connecting via USB to a laptop. All calls are made through a browser app.

No idea on budget but I'd say these ones are looking at less than £20. I was hoping to get a little list together so I can put them forward after a little research. :)

In that case then I would be looking at the Plantronics Blackwire USB noise reduction series of headsets.
