Headset recommendations

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good headset for me, preferably for around £50 or less, though I can go above this. I like the sound and feel of the Medusas, however after having a second set break in the same way (plastic snapping just above the earpiece), I don't think it is a good idea to keep going with them. I require a headset which includes a microphone as I spend a lot of time using TeamSpeak while gaming, 5.1 would also be a strong preference. They will be used for movies and music as well as gaming. It would also be nice if I am unlikely to break them in less than a year.

Thanks for the advice guys. Having already read a lot of the posts here I get the idea that general opinion is that headphones (without microphones) are far better than headsets. If anyone knows of any decent clip on or desk mounted microphone which will work well in noisy environments, such as lan parties, without having to carefully position them every time I want to speak, it would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion of the steelsound v2s batchie. I have had a look at them and am not sure they will last any longer than the medusas, can you (or anyone else) comment on their build quality. To give you an idea of the level of wear they are likely to be in for, in the last 4 years I have broken 4 sets of Plantronics Audio 90s (no great loss) and 3 sets of Medusas (though one of these was by cutting through the cable, so not under what I consider my normal useage).
