didnt have any replys in the other other area, anyone got any suggestions welcome

I have an old set of QPAD QH-90s which have separate Mic and Heaphone connectors on a cablé about a metre long. These came with an extension cable allowing connection the the rear of a floor mount PC.

No idea if they’re considered good from an audio perspective, but they’re comfortable for 4-5 hours of gaming and work well enough for me.

The only downside is that material used as the outer cover of the headband started flaking away after 4 years and I had to improvise a cover.

I paid £35 for mine 6-7 years ago back in the U.K., but they appear to be way more expensive now.

I had a steel series for about 15months great sound, first the mic extenion got stuck, then it stopped charging, tried to claim on their 2 year warrenty and that didnt happen.

My son has a set of Steelseries Arctis 5's and loves them. They are wired but only on one side.

He loves them, and he is a bit of a tech nut. They were well researched before he chose them and he's very pleased.

Whether he has an ear for quality sound I do not know (probably not) but they seem to be ideally suited to gaming.
