Headset + speakers ?

Hi, im looking for a headphones and a set of 2.0 speakers or 2.1
budget of around £50 each so nothing to expensive.

im not bothered if the headphones comes with a mic infact i would prefer one without.

Goldring NS1000's, just google, can be had for £52.99 and these speakers, have a set myself, my review is the 3rd one down. actually bought a 2nd set for the tv in the living room!!

also if you fancy spending a little bit extra couple those speakers and headphones with this soundcard, great value card.

i was told i dont really need a soundcard as the onboard sound will be fine. motheroard is asus P8P67 PRO?

i'm afraid i can't give you any advice on the onboard sound on that motherboard. tho onboard audio has come on leaps and bounds from what it used to be. with that in mind, you could do without the soundcard unless you arent happy with the audio and fancied trying a soundcard at a later date

+1 for the ns 1000's, use them with an asus xonar dx audio card, sound is fantastic, ive actually stopped using my rubbish creative i trigue 3330 2.1 speakers.
