Hiya, I need OCUK help here choosing a gaming headset.

I don't own a pair at the moment so really a noob at this sort of thing. They need to be fairly decent that has some amplification as I'm profoundly deaf and primarly used for BF4 multiplayer with Vent.

I think the HyperX Cloud 2 are 7.1 or something like that, but yeah that's a good idea too. The Clouds will probably destroy those ideas sub £100, apparently they are the best sub £100 headphones out

Would the Kingston hyper x be okay using the motherboard on board sound. I think it is realtek. Or would I need a decent sound card

whilst it would benefit from a soundcard as any non usb headset would Yes it would work.
