And just like that I'm back into the VR/AR world...

I've signed up for the 3 month trial of Quest+ see what's in there that I fancy.
Tried my glasses on with the headset, shocking, so that's a no go, thinking my issues could be light coming in under the nose plate maybe as the window is on the right side, which is the same side as the light/reflection/blurring thing I have.

So thinking today's purchases will be a face interface thingy, and a case..

Then to try some new games..

As i suspected, as I only use them for tiny close up stuff at work, or when I'm on the PC when tired, my focal length isn't that bad.

Also thinking some rechargeable packs for the controllers, with grips maybe...

I use my glasses for close up work and PC use, but find that my Quest 2 is better without glasses, no idea why as I can see the stuff on the PC screen without glasses.

I just couldnt get on with the Q2 at all, I couldn't get the lenses lined up properly, and didn't even try with my glasses on...

Although the lenses are right in front of your eyes, the focus point of the image is actually something like 2 metres away. And that's fixed, so if you "pick up" an object in VR and look at it closely, you are still seeing it at the same fixed focal length.

Seeing stuff at 2m is fine, focal point is about 40cm in front of my eye, anything close than that starts to go blurry...
