So in the market for a new headset and I'm a corsair fan boy. I'd prefer wireless just for the sake of no wires to get in the way.

I'm trying to decide between:

H2100

Or

Void RGB

I really don't care about RGB on a headset.

Just after peoples opinions and ideas regarding the above products, thanks!

I have never used the Void but my experience of a friend's H2100 was that the sound was utter gash. I couldn't decide whether I disliked 7.1 or stereo more.

And listening to his terrible microphone on VOIP is a cruel reminder of that horrible experience.

Fanboy or not, buying something that isn't the Hyper X Cloud II at this price point is a crime.

Bought the void myself and returned it. I didn't like it the ear cups are not comfy and didnt fit my ear like my old ones. (i went from a corsair 2100 so i was surprised)

whats the mic quality like on the Hyper X Cloud II?

I currently use the apple EarPods for sound and a cheap £8 mic which is shocking quality.

I was considering buying a blue yeti mic so people could at least understand what Im saying in games but this may be a neater option.

People prefered it when I used the Cloud II over the modmic and headphones that I normally use. However that might be because my modmic is broken - I'm not sure.

No idea what modmic is if Im honest ?

I'll have to look, I just want a really good quality mic to replace my £8 Zalman :D

I bought a HyperX Cloud 2 about 2 weeks ago to make YouTube videos and Twitch live streams and so far have been very happy with it. The microphone seems to have decent quality if you position it properly.

I could post a link to one of my YouTube videos if you want an example of what the microphone quality is like? Note that my YouTube videos have no processing done on them at all. What you hear is exactly what Fraps recorded. I didn't process the audio through Audacity or anything afterwards.

I bought the Corsair Void wireless RGB headset, they were far to heavy and kept falling off my head if I lent forward. The mic was so quiet my mate couldn't hear me over Skype when we played CSGO and they kept cutting out if I walked 6ft away. I took them back and got the wired Kingston Hyper x Cloud version 2...And what a pair of headphones they are!!! Superb. They are so comfortable, the mic is top notch and the 7.1 sound is amazing!!!

Hope this helps!!!
