hi

any good wireless headsets for the Ps5 with surround sound? i have a old set of corsair 7.1 but they are really heavy and large.

I've just bought some Astro A40's. They have a wire that goes from the controller to the headset but that's it. The sound is excellent in them.

I have Astro A40 aswell but wired with the mixamp brilliant bit of kit, although would be better if you could use PC and Xbox on it at the same time without such a faff.

surround sound in headphones is a gimmick buy decent stereo every day. You cannot fit 20 speakers that are of good quality into a headset. it's hard enough for manufacturers to fit 1 on each side.

Also, virtual surround tech is pretty bloody clever. What they can get out of simple stero is pretty impressive.
