I can't wait to show my wife this, she is a Primary school teacher and also an Atheist.

I do feel sorry for this woman though, she is never going to live this down.

A primary school headteacher has been mocked on Twitter after claiming that evolution was “a theory” and there was “more evidence that the Bible is true”.

Christina Wilkinson, of St Andrew’s Church of England school in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, made the remarks in a tweet responding to London headteacher Tom Sherrington, who urged teachers to stick to science when teaching the origins of life.

Wilkinson wrote: “Evolution is not a fact. That’s why it’s called a theory! There’s more evidence that the Bible is true.”

Unacceptable from a head teacher.

Have to say I agree, and while these seem to be her personal views I really don't know why in the 21st century we still have church affiliated schools.

She is of course entitled to her beliefs, but they need to be kept out of the classroom.

The bible is true, I mean there is a book called the bible....so that is a fact.

Unless she meant the bibles teachings are true.

I have a client with around 5,000 users. This coming Monday I'll send a global email saying nobody is allowed a lunch. Instead, they are to meet me in the car park where they can all share a loaf of bread and a fish.

Can a virgin become pregnant? Deep space nine did it by transporting the baby between mothers, but I'm not sure 24th century technology existed 2016 years ago.

Technically you can walk on water. We'll, maybe not technically.....you can walk on the rocks just underneath the surface I guess. The evil guy in Superman 2 did it though.

Jesus rose from the dead. Yep, we know this can be true. That russian lad who partied hard on vodka came back to life.

There's a few members on here who agree with her, so prepare for the inevitable **** storm.

The rules of your game are quite simple, and well-known to us all ;)

1. Attempt to lure a person of faith into thread.
2. Gangbang them
3. Circle jerk.
4. Goto 1.

Thus people of faith have simply stopped playing this game, and you'll need to invent a new one :p

I'm all for children being taught objectively about the various main religions of the world, but don't bring your own religion to school or work.

Where I work now is great in that no one attempts the conversion card. Previous place however...

Fixed :p

Since when primary school teachers are required to be smart anyway? I met one the last few months who was teaching /math/ in a primary school and failed to calculate the surface of the garden.
