Headunit recommendation

Hi all,

I'm on the hunt for a new headunit for my Leon, the Kenwood one that came with the car is just... horrible.

It has to be a single din one and no more than £70 and has to have USB compatibility. I have had a look around online to see what is available but their are far too many for me to choose from!

I'm sure I could stretch by a fiver, and Alpine is one of the brands I was looking at

What is the sound quality, bass & preset EQ's like do you know? (well, it must be better by a mile off compared to my Kenwood unit lol)

Honestly I don't know. I have one of there much higher end models (link below) and its fantastic. Assuming there entry level stuff is even half as good I dont think you will be upset.

At the end of the day, your never going to get top quality sound for the £70 price point. If it has all the features you want and is from a decent brand, it's probably going to be good enough.

Yeah I gathered that £70 wouldn't buy me the best unit in the world, but now I know that I will be set on an Alpine one and quite possibly the £75 one you recommended

not the best quality in the world but its cheap has what you want and will work well with the dash of the leon
if you want ipod aswell as usbpen then you would want this
