heart rate monitor recommendation

I've looked at a few 'best heart rate monitor under £50' etc but thought I'd ask here...

I just want a heart rate monitor that will connect to my phone/an app so I can use it when im using my basic (no connectivity etc) rowing machine to monitor heart rate and try make it a little less boring/something to aim for

Polar H10 and Wahoo Tickr are 2 I'm looking at just now - what do you suggest?

I have one of these which has only been used once and I don't want anymore.
Unsure if we can sell items like this through OCUK though
