Heat maps?

I got an email today which showed all the signs of spam, but just before deletion I saw the word free and actually it looks semi-genuine: http://heatmaps.us/

While I'm still dubious just because it was spammed to me, the idea's interesting, so can anyone recommend any heat map style scripts etc (free) that you've used in the past? I think it'd be very useful for a couple of my sites.

If your websites are Google friendly analytics should provide a more detailed view of how your pages are used.

It's under content, called in-page analytics.

That is true, but a heat map would be useful to ascertain which link is used the most if there are multiples on the same page. For example we've got two separate links that both call on the same lightbox popup.

Anyway, I'm giving Clickheat a try and will see how that fairs.
