I had a bit of a problem this morning (I have no idea how it happened) but I managed to JAM my heated rear screen on/off button. At first it was on and when I went to switch it off, nothing happened... the light stayed on. I parked up and switched off my car when I got to work, and when I left tonight the button was obviously still jammed but the activation light was off and so was the heated screen.
I was hoping that someone else has had this problem and knows a simple, cost effective way of fixing this without ripping the electronics of the car apart.
The car in question is a: Ford Escort 1.8 Ghia.
As you can imagine this is an irritation at this time of year, so all suggestions are welcome - thanks guys.
