Gents, any thoughts on this one...

Blown head gasket. Losing coolant but no external leak. Heaters blowing cold air.

Head checked, not cracked. Gasket replaced. Heater will not blow warm air. Thermostat replaced. Twice. Water pump replaced.

Still cold.

Car is 2010 ford ranger 2.5 diesel. So it's basically a mazda.

Could be an Air lock in the hoses that feed to the heater from the engine...

Or a seized or non working valve/switch that controls the hot & cold

Don't think it's an air lock. It's been flushed, bled and burped. Valve possibly a door switch.

I would disconnect the two hoses that feed to the heater and run a garden hose into one of them to check if water can get through ok or if something is stopping it..

Update - Fixed by itself! Father just ran it for a day and it started working and now works absolutely fine. I'm going with a blockage in the matrix.

On the downside someones just rear ended him and sodded off...
