In my Audi A3, the heater motor fan stopped working.
I took it out, gave it a shake and it came back to life. It now makes hell of a noise, screeching as it spins from time to time.
I ordered another heater blower from gsfcarparts and it came (but with a different connector).
They said I ordered one without climate control, that is why the connector is different, doh!
However, this £70 quid part, has now become £210 - mainly because it has climate control in it. Is that right?
Is it that much more expensive simply because it needs climate control?
I can't see anything on my old heater motor that would require another £140 to be chucked at this.
Anyone have experience with these heater motors?
Looking for some info before splashing out more on getting this resolved.
