Heatkiller Thermal Pads

Fitting the block now. Which way round do the pads go or doesn't it matter? Noticed there's a slight pattern to them on one side.

I've been given 11 washers and I need 13. Two for the two m3 x 8. I'm trying to put the back plate on. Offs.

Phewww got a pack of washes from my last water block. I'm fitting this block with the backplate. Do I need to do anything with the slot plat screw or can I leave that as it is? Not sure why it asks you to fit a washer bolt and screw for that.

I did, as i thought it may help towards stopping any pcb flex. Whether it does or not i couldn't say.

I've only been given 2 bolts also which will be for the two holes at the end of the card with no threads so I don't know if I need to touch the slot plate as it has the original screw in anyway. Can it short now the stick cooling isn't on?
